12:05 a.m. Monday
So it's only been one week since he arrived and he already has me wrapped around his finger. We just finished one of his 30-a-day feedings and put him back in his crib to sleep. After a few minutes, I heard him grumbling around in his crib so - like a concerned father - I went into his room to check on him. Well, he wasn't completely awake, but visibly unhappy and not sleeping. So I picked him and took him to the rocker and started rocking him back to sleep. Within 30 seconds he had his eyes closed and a big ol' grin as if to say "Ha, I fooled you and I'm too cute to put back in the crib for at least 10 or 15 minutes."
He was right of course!

It sounds like things are going good so far. I hope Emily is feeling better. Just so you know, I still check this site daily to check for updates. It has been a great insight to your new world. By the way, how much did Tyler weigh?
