In 1968, at the age of 5, this lady ran her first marathon. At the age of 10, she ran 3:01 in the marathon. It took me 4:45 at the age of 28.
Why, do I bring this up...? Just doing some research to find out what age Tyler can start running with me. From what I have read, he can start running 5 and 10Ks at an early age. The Peachtree Jr. is age 7-12, but maybe I can have him running the real Peachtree Road Race with daddy by 12 or so
According to the experts though, no marathon for "Marathon" until he reaches the age of 18 - at least that is what they recommend.
I know, I know...let's get him into the world first. But hey, I have a little free time right now and I haven't had a real night's sleep in 3 days.
